My take on the guy at this point is that he a spoiled 4 year old in a grown man's body. Nobody has EVER told him NO! And it shows.

(6,931 posts)The final assembly for the Boeing 787 takes place at Boeings plant in Everett, Washington. The plant employs a mere 800 to 1,200 staff who are responsible for the final assembly of the major components of the aircraft. As with the Boeing 737, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will have the construction of its major components contracted out to manufacturers around the globe.

(42,700 posts)Credibility is important when pointing out someone else's lies. And if we perpetrate easily debunked stories, like the claim Trump suggested the Wright Bros flight took place in SC when he clearly referred to NC, we lose an important element of our credibility.

(5,611 posts)entire speech, and Trump was praising the Wright brothers, etc speaking TO the people of South Carolina (including obviously the Boeing employees) present for his rally. To me it seemed completely bizarre and rather obvious that he had no idea that SC is not where the Wright brothers event took place.
onenote
(42,700 posts)He simply was drawing the distinction between the first airplane (built of wood and cloth, flying for only a few seconds) and the modern jet liner behind him. And he was clear that the Wright Bros plane flight occurred "next door, in SC" . If we let our hate blind us to what Trump says, we're going to lose our credibility in pointing out his actual fuck-ups.
