It makes sense. He wants to be president and he is privy to what is going on, despite his claims of being lied to.

(44,992 posts)That'd be hilarious if he was Rogue Potus Staff too.

(14,525 posts)the sense of humor to be Rogue Potus Staff. The info on those posts is low-level. I think Pence, or someone on his staff, with his permission is leaking the big stuff.

(807 posts)A week or two ago, the 700 club came on while I was cleaning. I didn't see it, but it was announced as a main story. The fact that Putin enacted a law against evangelizing outside the church. Well, that law became effective in July. Where was the outrage with Putin during the campaign? Trump is a useful idiotic and I would think this is a signal to get ready for Pence. I have been reading Theocracy Watch for years and the domionists goal is to put other domionists and fundamental Christians in positions of power across the spectrum of politics. If Trump goes, we will have one in the White House. God given Dominion over Earth. Trump is in way over his head and possibly mental ill, but Pence is more scary. We need an administration that works for Americans. All Americans.

(28,323 posts)#1 - Look around you, the Pence administration agenda (and worse) is being enacted anyway.
#2 - We have NO SAFEGUARD in place to prevent Trump from launching a nuclear first strike. The guy who abandoned his national security briefing after 20 minutes to go tweet about his duaghter-wife being mistreated by Nordstroms, the guy who set up a situation room in full view and earshot of diners on a semi-public patio, the guy who doesn't know what the nuclear triad is . . has first strike authority AND the nuclear football. Pence is repellent, but not that kind of crazy.
#3 - Prior to becoming VP, Pence was destined to loose the governorship in his own home state because he has all the charm and magnetism of a bag of wet cardboard. His presidency on the coat-tails of Trump's impeachment will be greatly weakened. Trump loyalists will be suspicious of him and The Resistance will be energized and emboldened.

I wish we could have a real administration too. I have no idea how we'll get there though. It's going to be hard struggle and I hope we can make it to a more peaceful planet. People like that though want just the opposite.
Welcome to DU I hope you find a home.

(624 posts)replace him at will? Or is Pence considered elected for four years? I ask because I do not know how this actually works. Just musing...

(14,525 posts)He can spill info on him to get him impeached. Trump may do that to save his job. For people who demand pure loyalty they never have a problem turning on each other.
