Why would he take a 24/7 job with what was clearly going to be a turf battle. He could be doing a victory lap (even though they lost seats in both houses) with donors? Making big pay speeches.

I think he inserted himself as a control. I think that's why Romney tried to become SoS.

There was clearly going to be s turf war between Trump's trusted family and Bannon - say what you want he's a smart guy who realize that Trump can be manipulated and knows how to do it. Rense or the RNC establishment wanted in. A 3 way split as opposed to a binary 50:50 battle.

BTW - I think Bannon is as linked to the Russians as anyone else in Team Trump.

which led me to thinking about 45 screwing over little people, those people who clean his toilets, change his sheets, cook his food and how far actual betrayal could go. After a dust up at some restaurant in France Obama's staff admitted he traveled with a food-taster. One on staff in the WH wasn't addressed. Which led me to this thought.
