The idea of defunding Planned Parenthood is an insult to me and millions of women.

That was the ONLY health care I had from age 17 to 23. I was introduced to PP after I contracted chlamydia at 17 and was terrified to tell my parents. My own doctor would have told them and all hell would have broken loose. An older girlfriend took me there and I got the antibiotics I needed. Totally non-judgmental and totally confidential, they gave me counseling, love and my first birth control pills. They treated me as an adult, not a child. And my antibiotics and pills were free.

Millions of women have had similar experiences. I LOVE Planned Parenthood and believe that their funds should be increased!

They helped me not get pregnant. Taught me how to do a breast self-exam and referred me when I found a lump. Without them when I was 18-23 years old I would have been lost. I agree!! I LOVE PP and their funds should be increased!
