1. At a town hall meet up in Paonia Scott Tipton actually surprised everyone and showed up

Large attendance gave him an earful.

3. Good!

Don't care for Tipton, but good on him for showing up.

5. He's got real trouble out here

especially from hunter types worried over losing access to public lands. He is funded by Koch money and we are fighting fracking as well.
Took $49,000 for that education secretary, etc., etc., etc..
At least he had the balls to show up.

7. Thanks for the report. But how much "balls" does

it take to show up where he is supposed to? Zero points.

Of course, at least it's only zero and he didn't get a bunch subtracted, like those who are pretending they are want to be there but need to avoid evil Democratic assassination attempts.

10. He really wasn't supposed to show up

The event was planned without him. Over 200 people showed up from as far away as 60 miles.

11. Love that it was, but...wasn't he really anyway?

Completely setting aside that not showing up would have been a definite lose for him. Anyway, again it's good to hear what's happening around the country. Our rep has always done phony tele-halls with scripted Q and A--and this in an overwhelmingly conservative district. I ascribe it to contempt for the concept of being accountable to the electorate, though, not timidity.

2. Need to maintain a register of the Cardboard Congress

Notably those reps and senators who take up positions that are harmful to their constituents but cower when asked to defend those positions in a public forum.

8. Indivisible in Idaho

Have held at least one town hall with empty chairs for the Congress members. Hundreds of constituants were there but the people who are paid to listen to the voice of the people were cowards and no shows.

9. Awesome - the crowd, I mean.

Not the cowardly "so-called" senator.
