House GOP defeats resolution requesting Trump-Russia documents

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/trump-russia-house-republicans-235515

The measure, known as a “resolution of inquiry,” was defeated on an 18-16 party-line vote. The resolution would have requested that the Department of Justice provide Congress with “any document, record, memo, correspondence or other communication” related to “criminal or counterintelligence investigations” involving Trump or his White House staff.

I've reconciled that the Republicans will do nothing. They'll let this guy do anything and everything until we make it perfectly clear we aren't going away and the spotlight isn't going away. We start moving them out next year and until then that spotlight need to stay white hot. The people that put them all there need to be let known at every turn that this is WHAT THEY VOTED FOR. We don't have to be nasty about it or anything but nobody gets off the hook for this shit.

At that point, the shit becomes real. Until then, expect more of the same. They could give a rat's ass about anything else. They know he's dirty. They just don't care.

What this country needs is fewer politicians and more statesmen/stateswomen.

I was watching this unfold on YouTube live. Rep. Nadler introduced this - I don't believe he expected it to pass this time just yet either. After the failure, he tweeted:

Fact: we can file Resolutions of Inquiry in all committees, & get any MoC who won't protect the truth & the Constitution on record. #resist

Don't despair! We did it! We got them #ontherecord w/our #ResolutionofInquiry. And we will just keep it coming at them. Over and over.

The Senate has not yet caved....

Biggest issue is that the "payoff" ( Rosneft 19.5% ) is currently being held by Intesa SanPaolo/ Blackstone GSO Capital (Schwarzman- Trumps buddy & head of his little economic policy advisory group)

It will not be touched/ dispersed until Putin gives the ok -- that he is sufficiently satisfied with 45's accomplishments.....

The Press is working hard to uncover the TRUTH as is the Intelligence Community. This investigation is still young yet and too many people have seen the smoke and will not give up until the TRUTH is out there for all to see. Trump is a lying little bitch trying to cover his tracks having besmerched the Press and the Intelligence Community. These people are Patriots defending this nation, and are not going to let the little bitch get away with anything if they can help it. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on the Truth seeing daylight. Trump the pu$$y grabbing little bitch is not as smart as he convinces himself he is. He's got his hands in too many things and judgment day is coming, and the Truth will win out over the evil little bitch. Watergate wasn't solved in a day, but it WAS solved and the Truth came out. Trump's day of reckoning is coming too. I just hope it comes quickly.
