So, Beauregard went with the clueless hick act, as someone who doesn't know anything

Not good. He's a long term, smart, well connected political operator and yet, was putting on an act for show.

Only the willfully naive will be taken in by that nonsense. He's the USAG, for Gawd's sake. Not some clueless hayseed. How could he not know how this would pan out?

I'm sure that it played well for Ma and Pa GOPr though. P.T. Barnum would be proud.

I could almost hear the banjos.

He was getting on him for playing dumb, like he didn't know about the Russia trouble with hacking? Chris said headlines were everywhere...so it seems way too suspect.

Everyone knows who he is.

It's all theater and I'm glad Tweety noticed.

spending his days dozing in a sunny spot at the Shady Oaks Rest Home, not trying to look like the AG. Sessions is an idiot, he won't resign, but his pathetic attempts to cover up his involvement is not only going to ensnare him in a legal disaster, but his incompetence will bring others down with him.

Every single one of them is dumber than dirt - even the evil ones like Sessions.

He may be a pious, craven, self-serving white supremacist, the Southern pedigreed product of selective breeding, raised in the loving busom of Jim Crow gentility...

But he's no moron.

The weak chin and quietly cultured lilt in his plantation accented speech pattern are dead giveaways. He also knows how to code switch to hick as the need arises.

Brain wise, he's pretty much an ubermench in the GOPr cognoscenti, when compared to brain donors like S. King, Gohmert and R. Johnson. But he has decided to put his smarts in support of white supremacy and utter hypocrisy instead being a decent human being.

All of that pretty much makes him nothing more than a privileged, neoconferate piece of shit.
