A strange thing happened

I went to get on DU this morning and could not get on. I retyped everything and I was told it was not recognized. So, I went to the website that recovers info and got it sent and did what it told me to and still got told it was not recognized. I tried to contact the email addresses given to get help but even they would not go through on any of my devices. I moped around for a few hours then came back and tried again and it finally worked. I had also checked if my internet was working and turned my computer off for awhile and tried again. I finally, after moping around for a few hours tried the same thing and the only thing I had to different was put in a new password. I do not understand because I did everything right several times.
