If Republicans are so sure that their Health Care plan will be better, why don't they just

leave the ACA (Obamacare) intact and allow those who like it to keep it, while letting those who want to move to the GOP's "American Health Care Act" - with its inferior voucher program and health savings plans (for those who can afford them) - to do so? That would allow for REAL competition, which the Republicans insist that they want. Then, let's see what happens. May the best plan win!

2. That was one of their four pitched options. Some Republican pitched it in an interview.

Their plan was:
- repeal
- repeal&replace
- repair
- invent republican alternative and let people choose

But as they couldn't decide, they went with "all of the above".

3. No, won't work because they'll cut taxes for the wealthy anyway

and thus ACA will loose funding.

The not so hidden reason for all of this is tax cuts for the uber wealthy donors of the criminal gop

7. This...

Their "replacement" is a HUGE tax break for the wealthy and for insurance executives funded by repealing the current minuscule tax of the wealthiest which funded the majority of the ACA.

5. They want to sell useless insurance to people who won't know it's useless until they need it.

Republican leaders are grifters.

6. Why? Because their motivation isn't for Americans

to get the health insurance they want or need. It's to save wealthy people and businesses to save money. One thing that no one has spoken about is the employer mandate. Employers with more than 50 full time employees MUST offer insurance and they have to pay at least 50% of the premiums. While most large companies were already offering health insurance, many weren't paying 50% of the premiums and/or the insurance was substandard.

Whole Foods, where I worked from 2005-2010, had a pretty neat health insurance plan with an FSA, BUT they didn't cover mental illness other than paying for medication. Need to go into the hospital for depression or get counseling like I did? You were on your own.
