Republicans mocking us about Trump's tax returns

Makes me sick. Obviously this tax return was leaked by Trump himself.....why only from 2005? Probably the only year he ever paid taxes and the only return that showed no Russia connection

Just wait until we get his REAL tax returns

Tons of people tuned in to Rachel last night, and heard her talk about the Trump/Russia connection. The tax forms were used appropriately by Rachel Maddow. They ARE news.

That they weren't the turning point is irrelevant. That Trump paid his taxes is irrelevant.

Most likely, Trump sent those tax forms himself. They still gave Rachel an audience for the discussion. It's all good.

....I'd rather Trump think he's got the upper hand and pulled a fast one on Maddow and the rest of us. Here's why: he's careless and so is his entourage. His son was on twitter last night laughing about all of this ( which makes me think that he had his hands on sending those returns to David Cay ). Secondly, this stunt brought pub viewers into Maddow's realm and she opened with the Russian story which they had to sit through. It's sitting there in their subconscious. Maddow is onto something and Trump is going to go after her. I'm standing with her and why she may have a bit of egg on her face this morning, Trump is due to have the whole omelet blow up in his face.

exactly where we want it, along with the talking point that Trump is dishonest and manipulative.

No serious Republican is mocking the story. The only people doing that are Trump family members and other Trump/Tea Party stooges. No serious person cares what they think.

But thanks for your concern, and welcome to DU.

Agreed 1000%, it is said he did not pay tax for 10 years so we see the client copy of a return from over 10 years ago.
Not a very convincing move.

We have two pages from one year, 12 years ago. Their tactic is to claim that these two pages are all that is needed to prove Orange Shitstain's integrity in everything. They also claim that "the left" is horribly upset over having been "proved wrong."

This is utter nonsense. Any first grader can see this horsehit fantasy for what it is: a classic propaganda maneuver. Call them on it when you see it.
