Theory on why it's taking so long for info to be declassified - the scope of corruption is so vast..

Of course there are the obvious political motivations for not wanting info to get out. But if the web of deception is as vast as we believe, and they keep finding more threads to follow, that takes one huge investigation - the scope of which we have never seen.

So maybe to prematurely reveal what they had would have compromised the pursuit of other threads of intel, resulting in driving people underground or leaving the country, cover up of evidence, more Putin initiated mysterious deaths... etc.

What do you guys think?

Edited to add: My thinking was prompted by seeing Feinstein's reactiion to the Comey meeting yesterday.

asshole we have as president makes my brain hurt.

As to your theory...it is hard to know which end is even up at this point - but our best hope (in an odd way) is for something vast to be there which will take down not only trump but invalidate the whole election.

I can dream, can't I!

theories are true, this is one, big, fat, ugly conspiracy. It runs far, wide, and deep. And it all ultimately leads to Russia.

4. part of the problem probably is how many asses are hanging out there.

I read from that, that the fuckery is so widespread, pervasive, rooted in - and so unbelievably heinous - that they are taking every precaution to get it right, cross and dot the t's and i's, and make sure they get ALL the cancer before making the info public. It was two years from first news article to Nixon's resignation, and I am SURE that what they're finding makes Watergate look like jaywalking. And could lead to far more serious consequences for Russia than just sanctions. What they've done was an act of war.

This is as serious as serious ratfuckery gets, and we just have to be patient. It will be revealed, when they have everything in place. There will be people led away in handcuffs.

The only thing that upsets me about the slowness is that the R's are using this brief window of opportunity to shred everything they can while they have all three branches in hand. It's going to take YEARS to undo the damage they're doing. They know they don't have much time before shit explodes, that's why none of them are taking the time to challenge trump's administration's fuckery, they need to push through as much bullshit legislation as they can while they have the chance.

can as fast as they can, I went to a town hall by my Rep. Bluemenhaur last Saturday and was talking to his aide afterward about that very thing, and he said that even though it will take time, all that can be undone and repaired in time. Rep. Bluemenhaur said he was looking forward to putting sand in the gears whenever possible in the meantime, and to keep working on what we CAN control. Senator Wyden's aide told me in one of my frequent phone calls that there are a lot of really good people working on this behind the scenes.

7. I was in a straight up panic when Orange Foolius was elected

I was one of those who walked around like a zombie, in a daze for a week. I could not fucking believe that he won the election. And I was fa-REAKING out because I thought "they're going to get away with it!". It was so "crickets" from the investigative side that I thought, nothing is going to be done about it, no one gives a shit and we can only stand by and watch these election-stealing ratfucks tear down every gain the progressives have made since 1950. I was heartbroken, and scared shitless. But I'm starting to feel better and better, and more relaxed about it all every day. Clearly there's an investigation going on, people are lawyering up, and there's no need for panic anymore - just patience. It will be exposed. It will be huge. And it will be the death of the Republican party as it exists today.
