Which Trump State Democratic US Senators up for re-election in 2018 Loses?
All of the Trump State Democratic US Senators up for re-election in 2018 needs to win re-election plus Democrats need to pick up AZ and NV to end up in a 50-50 tie with Pence breaking the tie.
In 2020-Democratic US Senators up for re-election in states that are likely to vote Democratic at the Presidential Level
1)DE
2)IL
3)MA
4)MI
5)MN
6)NH
7)NJ
8)NM
9)OR
10)RI
11)VA
All of those seats need to remain in the Democratic column and Democrats need to win
1)CO-Hickenlooper-D
2)MT-Bullock-D
3)NC-Cooper-D

Republican US Senators up for re-election in 2018 is
AL-Strange-R is safe.
AZ-Flake-R is vulnerable in the primary and general. If Flake loses in the primary, Democrats win in the general election. +1D
MS-Wicker-R is safe.
NE-Fischer-R is safe.
NV-Heller-R is vulnerable. +2D
TN-Corker-R or Halsam-R is strongly favored to win.
TX-Cruz-R is favored to win re-election.
UT-Republicans are likely to win.
WY-Barrasso-R is safe.
It would take Collins-ME to switch parties and caucus with the Democrats in order for Democrats to regain control of the US Senate. Angus King needs to convince his homestate collegue to switch parties.

Or are you suggesting he run against Gardner?

I despise Gardner and hope we can defeat him, but I don't want Dino Hickenlooper in his place.

Now is not the time for demanding pure progressives. The most conservative Democrat is far superior to even the most liberal repuke.

Our problems are not normal and require we expand, not shrink, the tent.

We have a lot of good Democrats in Colorado. I'm fairly hopeful that someone much more palatable than Hickenlooper, and very electable, will be the candidate to run against Gardner.

So far none of the announced Dem canidates make me too warm & fuzzy. The state Dem party is very damaged, weak, & underfunded.
