Mike Conaway to Comey: How does Putin hating Clinton mean he wanted Trump to win?

Using a ridiculous metaphor about a Red Raiders game.

Comey said "By DEFAULT, if you WANT the other team to lose, you WANT the other team to win."

Conaway: But how does that work?

Comey: It's AUTOMATIC, wanting the other team to lose means you want the other team to win.

Conaway: But I don't understand.

Comey seemed to be getting pretty frustrated with that exchange. Whatever you think of Comey otherwise, he's clearly a smart guy, and he must have thought Conaway was a total nincompoop.

Not very effectively asking it, but I think that was the idea

I'm still on the fence about Comey. I just haven't figured out his motivation, etc. yet, but as to this specific exchange, I believe Comey handled it well.
