This hearing is making me enraged about the election results all over again.

I had almost spackled over that gaping hole in my heart, moved on to dealing with the aftermath via organizing and action. In survival mode, doing the needed.

Just looking at all of these criminals who hijacked the election, juxtaposed with reading about the Gorsuch hearings just ripped the scabs off.

I can't even imagine what Hillary must be sitting at home and thinking. I am so disgusted and pissed.

I've been irate since DU went down on 11/8/2016. A criminal cabal has taken over the country, and it's not even that sophisticated. It's just blatant lies and "what are you gonna do about it?". Mafia tactics.

We're tipping into full-blown Authoritarianism every day.

I hope that this administration goes down, and we find a way to fix all the shit that broke when stress-tested by this sudden shock to the system.

There are clearly a lot of norms I took for granted, that need to be shored up.

I just hope we can do it before the damage is permanent. I have faith in our resistance, but man this shit just burns me.

followed by the nomination of this sick bastard (between Roberts and Scalia, hates workers) to steal the seat on the bench is too much. No I will NOT get over this, the whole thing is illegitimate and if Gorsuch wins Republican approval, he should be removed at the first possible opportunity.

More and more, the GOP is showing us there has been a takeover by organized crime. It is no longer a political party.

I found this URL: https://www.supremecourt.gov/faq.aspx

Scroll down about 3/4 of the page to find this...

How long is the term of a Supreme Court Justice?
The Constitution states that Justices "shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour." This means that the Justices hold office as long as they choose and can only be removed from office by impeachment.

Has a Justice ever been impeached?
The only Justice to be impeached was Associate Justice Samuel Chase in 1805. The House of Representatives passed Articles of Impeachment against him; however, he was acquitted by the Senate.

We're in uncharted territory with a political party turned racketeering organization.

Did it today, both VA senators' offices (Kaine & Warner) said they hadn't decided how they're going to vote yet. Gave em a dose of NO.
