There are fewer coal miners than you might realize.

In May 2015, there were 69,460 jobs in coal mining itself ó only 15,900 of which were extraction workers or helpers, mining machine operators or earth drillers.

Thatís 0.019 percent of the American workforce.

1. And that number will soon

take a major hit in the next couple of months. Believe there are several Coal Fired Power Plants that will either switch to Gas or shut down.

2. That's as many Physicists as there are out there.

If only we had has as much of an outsized influence on the election as the oft touted "coal miner"
