Republicans say they lack votes to pass health plan in blow to TrumpPolitics | Fri Mar 24, 2017 | 1:59pm EDT Republicans in Congress said they lacked the votes needed for passage of their U.S. healthcare system overhaul and a key committee chairman came out in opposition after Donald Trump demanded a vote on Friday in a gamble that could hobble his presidency. Amid a chaotic scramble for votes, House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan, who has championed the bill, met with Trump at the White House. Ryan told the president there were not enough votes to pass the plan, U.S. media reported. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-obamacare-idUSKBN16V149

1. Not ready to celebrate yet. Wait for the vote.
Most of these guys would do anything to kill poor people and give your money to rich people.

2. Yes, but the bill does horrific things like retain coverage for people with pre-existing conditions
So it must fail.

3. I agree, they really REALLY want to stick it to poor people (i.e. "Democrats" - or so they think)
In the back of their mind, they know those neanderthals that voted for Rumphole are not going to like the result if this passes - which could destroy their new "coalition" just months after it "formed"
