Why We Can't Fix Health Care: The REAL GOP Priorities!

The GOP is more concerned about:

#Protecting the profits of the parasitic health insurance companies
#Their ridiclous religious belief that the Market performs miracles
#Insuring more tax cuts for the rich even if extreme wealth is largely a function of government freebies
#Their GOP brand of being for "small government"... and
#Using Government as a perverted "moral" enforcer designed to punish the unworthy poor

...than their constitutional duty to insure this is a nation that promotes the general welfare by looking out for its people.

SO WHY DON'T THEY JUST SAY THAT?

If they can't THEN THE DEMS SHOULD!

I made an effort to look it up.

In the end it's not my job to decipher what others are saying any more than it's a reader's job to look for sources someone claims exist.

Guess I'm soooooo old UseNet.

The problem isn't that the Right just believes in some perverted, serf-serving morality tale... they DO go out of their way to drive down the economic gains of those on the bottom. If the 1968 Minimum Wage were simply adjusted to inflation it today would be worth about $7300 a year more. So they rig the system to benefit the rich then complain the poor are immoral by virtue of their poverty. And sure... hard work, education, not doing drugs, not getting pregnant early etc do give some an edge in a competitive economy... but so does organize labor that can bargain on equal terms with corporations.

The right won't be happy unless the entire system is rigged in favor of the rich and corporations.

To broke to buy boots
To dumb to know how to put them on properly if you HAD the funds or buy any.

THIS is what the GOPs paymasters want for us. Neofeudalism and indentured servitude.

Leaving aside sociopaths I suspect every cynical, destructive, or self-serving person rationalizes their beliefs sound moral. Hitler wanted to believe History would absolve him of the mass murder of the Jews. Social Darwinists thought they were doing nature a favor if they kicked down a poor person. The deeper the far right gets into this pseudo moralism that success in the market is "proof" of one's superior morality... the more we'll see them try to rig the system for the deserving rich and against the undeserving masses.
