I really can not understand this winger "Trump can do no wrong" bullshit

It's just too much of an effort to put into lazy thinking. This fake ass Trump "winner" that lives rent free in their heads is more real to them than reality itself.

He could literally eat a live baby while sitting in the Oval Office and they'd defend that shit by claiming that Trump couldn't help himself because the infant looked so tasty and delicious.

I think that the only way that he can get away with anything to these people is that they've deluded themselves into thinking that he's selectively fucking over other people that they can't stand. As long as they believe that they're unaffected by his incompetence, malfeasance and corruption, what he does is just fine. They can't even pay attention to the fact that, as President, the hardest thing to do is to selectively fuck over certain people.

They're mentally blocking out any notion that they could be fucked over by his bullshit as well. It's like living with blinders on.

If these people are as stupid and callously indifferent to anyone else as I suspect, it's quite clear that they're utterly useless human beings. The worst motherfuckers on the planet, allowing evil things to happen because they couldn't care less.

Not just that, they're so enthusiastic about it.

Don't ever tell me that we need to reach out to them. They can burn in flames and you know the rest.

FDT.

I've had it with trying to reason with them or win them over. They are just as sick as the people they voted for. They have no morals and no conscience.

Emotional and otherwise. The cheered at the rallies, they bought the merchandise, they embraced the hate, and nobody likes to look like a fool.

They were told to worship Putin and they did. Trump pulling a medicine show trick - they bought in and are just waiting for the potion to start working. It will take a long time before they even start to see that they've been had.

They are not stupid. They make lots of money. They want so badly for a Republican/businessman to be brilliant that they are willing to overlook any of the lack of morals and character weaknesses that they accused others of and have often complained loudly about.
They complain about people who don't pay their bills, yet....
They complain about wasteful spending, yet....
They complain about unfaithful spouses, yet....
They complain about people who lie, yet....

Everything is explained as being part of his "master negotiating plan" that is too complex for regular people to understand.

Have you read that sort of thing?

I've seen it from his superfans with regard to the whole health care bill sequence of events.

Last year I read that someone respectable had done a study that indicated that at any given time -- not just now -- about a third of US citizens would happily follow a strongman. I found that appalling, but probably psychologically true.

The other appalling thing, probably in the same article, was that in the middle of the last century (1930s - 1960s) some 80% of Americans agreed with the statement that "Democracy is the best form of government." The figure is now much much lower.

I don't know where to go with this, except Benedict Donald has a small hard core (sounds like a boil, doesn't it) but that the majority of America will eventually wake up.

Crazy and stupid is actually sane, no matter his original intent. You saw this with the wiretapping bullshit. Then the media is forced to counterbalance reality with this manufactured reality because they don't want to seem partisan. But a pile of shit will always be a pile of shit even if 60 million people call it a hamburger.

and they were very impressed with Bernie and very swayed by his arguments. They were amazed that a "socialist" could care about their lives and understand the issues of the working man in a way that none of their representatives seemed to. So it can be done.
