Lazy Assed Cheetolini is refusing to throw Opening Day ceremonial pitch

That is some lazy, cowardly, unAmerican bullshit. I know that and baseball isn't even my favorite sport.

"Scheduling conflict," my black ass. It's not like the Alien Hoard from the Planet Xzzrkzaxx is planning to invade Earth that day. What's he gotta do, hit the links? Eat a chimichanga?

Trump is once again shirking his responsibility. Fucking Cheetos dust covered slacker.

FDT.

If he were to ever face the public, he would not be warmly received and he knows it.

Frankly, I'm surprised the Nationals even invited him give the overwhelming lack of support he has from residents of D.C. and it's suburbs in MD and VA.

Trumpy's balls would get sucked into his pelvic girdle if he heard that much booing. He'd never live it down. So his schedule conflict with the fact that he's only interested in maintaining the facade of popularity. The booing would be too real.

Way high and outside. But that's better than bouncing it is the advice catchers always give those making a ceremonial first pitch.

In recent years, George W was easily the best at ceremonial first pitches. It's one of the only things he ever did that impressed me.

Plenty of comments in this thread about first pitch capabilities. I didn't realize there was a strict germaneness rule now. If you're the germaness czar could you do everyone a favor and post rules for each new thread explaining what comments will be deemed relevant or not?

...."I was always the best athlete. Something that nobody knew about me. …I was the best baseball player in New York when I was young. … But I also knew that it was very limited, because in those days you couldn’t even make a lot of money playing baseball. … Everybody wanted me to be a baseball player. But I was good in other sports too. I was good in wresting, I was very good at football. I was always the best at sports.”

where he can cheat and think no one sees him,
the pitch would be recorded forever. He wouldn't want to be caught on tape lobbing a pitch a few inches from his feet.

SO STOP SAYING THAT!

55. 'The White House declined the Washington Nationals offer

for Donald Trump to toss out first pitch on Opening Day ahead of Monday’s game against the Florida Marlins at Nationals Park. There was a report Trump was "in talks" with the Nationals about continuing the tradition, according to Politico Tuesday morning.

The Nats appeared to be Trump’s only option among Mid-Atlantic MLB teams after John Angelos, son of Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos said on a Baltimore-based podcast he’d rather not see the Commander in Chief atop the mound at Camden Yards:'>>>

56. Does anyone have that pic that got posted this weekend of him shitting his pants at the golf course?

When he went golfing there was a thread about it, someone posted a tweet showing his fat ass in those baggy white pants, and there was a long brown smear down his crack. Maybe it was photo shopped (maybe not) but it sure looked genuine and titled something like Trump shat his pants...I wish I had copied it. Anyone have it?

57. He does nothing that isn't orchestrated and in which he's carefully protected.

Man of the people my fat fanny. He hasn't been "among the people" since, well, ever. He has controlled every encounter with press, with the tiny segment of the useful public he'll allow in his presence, and with the few he'll filter things through to organize his lies and broken promises. Baseball? Sure. When hell makes ice cubes.

Or he just doesn't want to risk the humiliation of being booed by the crowd.

61. Trump was told by Orioles officials

he wouldn't be invited to throw out the first pitch for the 2 APR 2017 home opener versus the Toronto Blue Jays. Peter Angelos is a Democrat. When Dubya was in office he (Bush) refused to come to Baltimore due to the owner being a Democrat.

62. The simple truth: He cannot throw a pitch because he's 70yo and his only sport is Golf.

He would have thrown a half-assed fart that wouldn't have made it to the base.

I think the reason is more likely that he would be booed heavily, and his image would suffer, rather than being too lazy...

Also, his hands might not fit around the ball!

He was "apparently" a talented baseball player when he was young (I put "apparently" in quotation marks because I question every single positive thing that has ever been written about this fraud) but that was a loooooooooonnnnnggggg time ago. He doesn't want people to see how pathetically out of shape he is now.

If you were him would you throw out the first pitch? I doubt he has the strength or athleticism to get the ball to home plate. I think that would be one of the worst first pitches ever. Trump could never take the embarrassment of throwing a bad pitch.

101. Actually, Orioles already said they don't WANT Trump to throw the first pitch...

Actually, this was not Trump's call to make...he'd already been rejected.

This is another Trump propaganda lie to cover rejection when someone dishes him consequences for his bad behavior! Back in February, Orioles VP already stated they don't want Trump throwing first pitch, at least not until he apologizes for all the offensive comments he's made about women, minorities, etc. And we all know the likelihood of that happening. Trump has probably never apologized to anyone for anything in his entire life. My father was a pathological narcissist so I have first-hand experience in that regard, altho my dad was an angel compared to Trump.

104. Top Ten Reasons Why Dump won't throw the first pitch:

10. Gesture would implicitly condone actions of Cuban players who helped Ted Cruz's dad shoot President Kennedy in the head

9. Hands too small, can't grab ball
8. Unclear where ball should be grabbed anyway given that it doesn't have a [redacted]

7. Players are too old and too male to make for good locker-room sleazeball creeping

6. Upset that Obama beat out Mike Trout for ISIS MVP award despite worse advanced stats

5. Disappointed when someone told him there are no Trump University alums playing in the game because Trump University didn't have a baseball team and was, in fact, a high-pressure sales scam rather than a real institution of higher learning

4. Presence of actual, complete, non-imaginary wall in outfield makes him jealous

3. Can't sleep because he keeps seeing this on the inside of his eyelids every time he tries to get even a moment's peace. By God, her visage haunts his very dreams

2. Would probably be booed mercilessly given that he has an extremely low approval rating and would be appearing in a city in which he only got four percent of the vote anyway

1. Still upset about 1947 integration of the major leagues

via Slate

Personally, I'm glad he won't be stinking up Nats Park.
