Could US Senator Susan Collins R-ME pull a Jeffords-VT and become an Independent who caucuses with

Democrats like her homestate collegue Angus King?
Democrats need a net gain of 3 seats in order to get a majority in the US Senate.
All Trump State Democratic US Senators (Nelson-FL,Donnelly-IN,Stabenow-MI,McCaskill-MO,Tester-MT,Heitkamp-ND,Brown-OH,Casey-PA,Manchin-WV,and Baldwin-WI) need to get re-elected and Democrats need to defeat vulnerable Republican incumbents ( Flake-AZ and Heller-NV ) This puts Democrats at 50 seats. Democrats need a Clinton state Moderate Republican US Senator to switch parties.

1. No, she's too devoted to party over country.

2. No. Jeffords was the real deal.

He was more liberal than a lot of Democratic senators.

Collins just pays lip service to the left, but at the end of the day she's a Repiblican at heart.

3. Yes he was. I voted for him over his Democratic opponent because he was more liberal.

And I was never more proud of him than I was when he defected. I still remember how his Republican colleagues - many he considered friends for decades turned on him over it.

It wasn't an easy decision but Jeffords put principle over party.

9. Sure it did. The bills landed on President Obama's desk at least a couple of times.

5. She talks a good game

but she doesn't vote the way she talks. And that has disappointed me many times...........

I see no indication of her leaving the republican party

6. Highly unlikely, she has a 27% lifetime progressive voting history

which means she'd never caucus with Democrats. She's imbibed deeply of the Republican Koolaid and votes like a true believer more often than not.

Yes, she's the best that party has in office now. Consider that Manchin, the worst Democrat, has a lifetime progressive voting average of 53%, nearly double.

10. I'd love to meet Collins in public "Hey Susan, has your president grabbed your pussy yet?"

I'd give a weeks pay to see the shocked expression on her face.

I want to shame these Trump voters in the worst way. Their assh*les and need to be reminded often.
