Trump considering resigning...
Palmer Report
Menu Former White House staffer: amid Mike Flynn immunity request, Donald Trump is considering resigning By Bill Palmer | March 30, 2017 | 0 10774 SHARES Facebook Share Twitter Share Email this article Print Article Now that Donald Trump’s former National Security Adviser is offering to testify in Trump’s Russia scandal in exchange for immunity, it significantly narrows the path for Trump managing to survive the scandal himself. Flynn is essentially admitting he’s guilty just by asking for immunity, and such a deal will only be granted if Flynn can take down a bigger fish; that fish would be Trump. So it doesn’t come as a total shock to see a credible report tonight that Donald Trump is considering resigning. Claude Taylor, who worked on three presidential campaigns and served on President Bill Clinton’s White House staff, tweeted the following this evening: “An ind journalist I have worked with-who has been reliable-says they have 2 sources that say Trump is considering options-incl resignation.” Here’s the tweet in its proper formatting: Although retweets aren’t automatically endorsements, Claude Taylor’s tweet was retweeted by Harvard Law Professor and constitutional expert Laurence Tribe, who added his own thoughts: So what does this really mean? We have a former White House staffer, with a solid track record of his own, revealing that a journalist he trusts has multiple inside sources that say Donald Trump is considering resigning from the White House. You’ll have to take that for whatever you think it’s worth. But it’s remarkable that we’re even at the point where credible reports like this are now surfacing. It’s difficult to imagine Trump resigning without an immunity deal of his own in place, so don’t expect immediacy. But this does suggest inevitability. 1. I'll believe it when I see it.
I'd love for it to be true, but this smells like wishful thinking.

2. tRump has sure ushered in a clusterfuck
He really needs to go. We really should have overs on this last election. From start to finish let the best person reign supreme
I know its not possible for us to have overs but thats exactly what this country, hell, this world needs at the moment. We have to get past this somehow and just kicking the can on down the road won't get us there. FUCK |

3. I am sure resignation is one possibility.
Another is suicide following

4. I doubt he has the level of introspection to consider suicide.

6. And I don't think he has the level of awareness to understand how horribly he's doing
He pays so little attention - except to the crowds at his "rallies" - that he probably has no clue how horrifically he's messing up...

11. I was heartened to see the panels of Trump voters on the news shows
No longer seem to support what he's done. I don't know why they were surprised, though. His message has always been ridiculous and offensive. If only they had paid more attention before they voted.

5. Not a chance.
They'd try to have Flynn killed before Trumo quit.
In fact, when he is impeached and they vote to remove him, he still will not go willingly. He has a private militia guarding him at the White House, I am serious, guys wearing cammo with automatic weapons who only answer to Donald. He won't leave without violence. |

10. With Harold Bornstein as his doctor, can we expect Orly Taitz as his attorney?
Ben Carson as his investigator? Devin Nunes as his spokesman? Spicer as his chauffeur? Conway as his sofa-sitter?

13. I think we should treat the Palmer Report as a speculative
website, not a source of any sort of actual news. Truly.
I won't go so far as to call it a "Fake News" website, but it seems to come awfully close to that status. |

14. IMO, these are the only reasons why Trump would consider resignation.
1. His businesses decline because of his incompetent sons running them without his supervision.
2. Congress goes rogue and passes legislation without his input. (Conservatives and Freedom Caucus unite against Trump) 3. The media ignores Trump and stories focus on Ryan and McConnell. 4. Trump's base turns on him while others continue to disdain him. 5. Even an escape of golfing doesn't cheer him up. He wants to return to Trump Tower. 6. Steve Bannon bullies Trump and oversteps his position. 7. The public consensus is that Trump is certifiably insane. |
