Flynn files new financial paperwork disclosing payments from Russian firms

SNIP...........

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn did not list payments from Russian companies on his original financial disclosure forms submitted in February.

The retired lieutenant general filed an amended financial disclosure on Friday reporting speaking payments from three Russia-linked companies, including the state-backed news outlet RT.

The new disclosure was first reported by The Daily Beast.

Flynn was paid $45,000 by RT in 2015 to speak at the group's 10th anniversary gala. The two other companies – Kaspersky Government Security Solutions, a U.S. subsidiary of Russian cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Lab, and Russia-based Volga-Dnepr Airlines – paid him more than $5,000, according to the documents.

I retired from the Army in 1995 with 28 years of service. In two of my last three assignments, I did a lot of public speaking on behalf of the Dept of Defense -- American Legion, VFW, and Vietnam Veterans of America mainly -- spoke at their local posts, regional and national conventions.

It was not unusual for them to give me a small gift as a thank-you for speaking. Over the years, I collected four Cross pen-and-pencil sets; one nice down-filled jacket embroidered with my name and rank; several plaques; and a few other nice gifts.

Every time I returned from a speaking engagement with a gift, I had to go to the Dept of Defense General Counsel Office and turn in the gift. I filled out a form detailing the who, what, when, where, why -- had to certify that I was not dealing with a contractor and did not accept a gift from a contractor. A few weeks later the gift would be returned to me with a letter from the DoD GC stating they had determined that this was not a violation of federal law or DoD regulation, the gift was below a certain $$$ value, and I may retain it.

Flynn is a three-star; I was never promoted to general officer. He was relieved as Director, Defense Intelligence Agency. I served four tours in DIA, never relieved once -- never relieved from any assignments.

Flynn was paid $45,000 (that we know about) and he never reported it to anyone. I reported every $25 Cross ballpoint pen.

Fuck that shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STRIP HIM OF HIS STARS AND LOCK HIM UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

scumbucket did the complete opposite.

I have already been intolerably disgusted by this lizard's actions, but after reading this, I am realllly anxious to get him off our nation's streets and into the crappiest Federal prison US taxpayers can afford.

I thank you so much for all you have done for our beloved country.

Who among us doesn't just have $45,000 drop out of the sky into our pockets? Do you look closely every time to see where it came from? Give the guy* a break!

*I was going to say "Give the poor guy a break," but that might have been misinterpreted by some people.
