He'd be throwing at the Washington Walgreens game vs my Marlins and couldn't take the boos from the DC crowd.

Can you imagine how Trumpy would react to the TV replays of him walking to the mound and hearing the cascading boos and catcalls from the stands? He couldn't hire enough people to cheer for him, so he'd be at the mercy of the unwashed masses. There's an even greater risk that fans will throw their beer cups and apple cores at him. It would be, as he'd no doubt say, a Disaster. So he won't come near the stadium.

Plus he looks like a damn fool, throwing a baseball.

I was thinking though.... why not let his 10-year old son do it? That child looks like he never has any fun.

I keep thinking there is a small kernel, somewhere in his psyche, that knows he's made the biggest mistake of his life and is in, WAAAYYYYY over his head. Unfortunately, that kernel is surrounded by some pretty heavily armor plated ego.

The only problem was it was so slow a half decent batter could have knocked it out of the park.

Trump would have messed up the pitch. Muscle memory only works if you stay in reasonably good shape. He would have been booed when he approached the mound and then laughed out when he messed up the pitch.

Every last Trump vote in town might possibly fill the right field stands section in the immediate vicinity of the foul pole. Otherwise, a sea of boos would await him.

Nobody looks good throwing out a first ball except an actual baseball player. When Obama threw it was terrible and he did not do it again. Bush threw decent but he used to own a baseball club so he probably had a lot of practice. Also it is traditional for politicians to be booed at ballparks and so there is that too.

want to be throwing hardballs 60 feet in front of anybody.

That said, your president (not mine) would be booed out of the place like no one ever before.
