Ignorance of the law is no excuse (Ignorantia juris non excusat)

I learned this in first year law school. I thought of this when reading the felony murder thread. I'm sure there must be exceptions to that general rule.

on edit: Wiki seems to indicate exceptions.

Nobody knows every law. Not even the greatest jurists in the country.
