If you want to win 2018, remember how you lost 2014.

The democratic candidates lost because they tried to run as Democrats while simultaneously distancing themselves from Obama.

Trump is toxic.
He's awful and incompetent.
His track-record is catastrophes and defeats.
If the Democrats can push the Republicans so far that they start distancing themselves from Trump, then 2018 is as good as won.

But I can't do a thing about the highly biased Electoral College. When Trump won the EC vote I asked then as I ask now, "By how many million votes do we Democrats have to beat the opponent to win the race?"
