Gorsuch was chosen by the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation - Trump allowed them to choose the nominee THEY wanted. He's dangerous, FAR too extreme and his being seated on the USSC will all but ENSURE that Trump gets away with EVERYTHING.

ALSO - That seat was STOLEN from the American people in 2016 --- and the very legitimacy of the President who nominated Gorsuch is in question. THREE DAMN GOOD REASONS Gorsuch should be DENIED a seat on the USSC.

The only legitimate choice is Merrick Garland. The GOP-controlled Senators refused to do their duty by giving him a hearing. And now they want to confirm the Putin Puppet's choice.

If they confirm this guy, then Putin wins because at least half of all Americans will NEVER accept a close SC ruling if his vote was the swing. It de-legitimizes the entire court and weakens our government as a result.

The 9-member SCOTUS is ***not*** in the Constitution. It's merely a federal law, passed by Congress in 1948. It can be repealed. It can be changed. **THAT** is the next step if Gorsuch is rammed through.

Repeal 28 USC 1.

Appoint additional Justices, as necessary, to nullify the right-wing bloc on the court.

FDR threatened it in 1937 (the wingnuts on the court backed down -- see West Coast Hotel Co vs. Parrish (1937) -- and he didn't have to follow through on the threat). This time, it has to happen for real.

If Gorsuch is confirmed, the 9-Justice SCOTUS should be history. Starting as soon as the 2018 elections allow.
