The right wing uses 'liberal' like people in Salem used 'witch'

With that in mind...

What does "working with them" actually mean?

Is it truly reasonable to accept their authority and legitimacy when they repay your "reaching across the aisle" to them with seeking to erase you and what you stand for?

Make no mistake, this is is what gutting social programs is really about, they don't attempt to reform or repair flaws that they see; get kids out of public schools rather than fix them, if they really wanted to tackle unemployment then they would create a CCC-like program, repeal the ACA, drug tests for Medicaid because only junkies are supposedly on it, and more are to eliminate the gains of liberals and Democrats and people will have their lives destroyed by it all, but really it's only secondary. As long as it marginalizes liberals and Democrats, they don't care. Let's start thinking about the logical conclusions of what that means.

To hell with 'working with them'.

Liberal arts in education (an old term), for instance, means those areas of knowledge that are appropriate for a free person, as opposed to servants or slaves.

People always talk about which group will be branded the enemy and be subjected to mass extermination. And this group in charge definitely has labeled many groups the their enemy (Immigrants, Muslims, LGBT). But the one group I could honestly see them trying to exterminate concentration camp style is Liberals. Their hate for Liberalism surpasses the Nazi hate for Judaism. There are several million Deplorables who would love more than anything to exterminate tens of millions of American "Liberals". And the chief Deplorable is Bannon, he'd love to see gas chambers running day and night to kill of the 150 million or so Americans he hates.

There may come a day when there will be labels on your sleeve for Liberals.

Republicans define bipartisanship as "Do it OUR way and we'll blame YOU when it doesn't work."

I understand comparing something to Nazis is usually a bad idea, but in thus case ai feel it is warrented.

I think Republicans spit the term Libruls (libtarfs, libbies et al.) like Nazis spat the term Jew.

... a world made up of anything more complex than "Trump" and "liberals."

Invariably if you voice even the most hesitant objection to anything Trump says or does you are immediately branded some far "left-wing liberal."

Nope, it's just possible that people of all political stripes might be opposed to Trump; moderate Democrats, independents, libertarians, even conservatives (one of my Republican friends is horrified by Trump). Nope, none of that. Just "Trump" and "liberals" to these absolute idiots.
