(115,280 posts)I don't have a lawn any more since I turned my whole yard into a garden. I think they use chemical pesticides so I wouldn't use them anyhow. What did they do to your mom?

(5,128 posts)Bless her. Why I am seeking input. I think she was scammed. Considering filing with FTC for false advertising and bait and switch.

(50,453 posts)My parents bought a new house a few years ago, and TruGreen hydroseeded the lawn. Unfortunately, they seeded the entire neighborhood with shade-loving seed. The north side of the house looks pretty good. The grass never grew in on the south side. Uhh...guys, why not do a realtor mix and plant both full-sun and shade-loving varieties, which would ensure the grass would come in properly all over?

(14,732 posts)they were billing me for treatments they never did - the guy would come out, walk around and then get back in the truck. Voila - a bill for treatment.
