Fun fact about Mr. diGenova: his wife, Victoria Toensing, is Erik Prince's personal lawyer.
And, to remind everyone, Erik Prince is Betsy DeVos' brother

(51,129 posts)Notice how they are blaming the blacks, for greater plausibility effect among their racist base. I'm calling it the cyber lynching defense to impugn the evidence.
That started when the WH was subpoenaed (I assume) and WH counsel ordered document preservation (as a result), which triggered Trump's cyber-lynching of Obama to try to politicize the investigation to get the evidence thrown out.
Once the WH had been put on notice, everyone got really serious. What they want is to pretend nothing is wrong, but they are no longer able to hide their panic.
Don't confuse them trying to spin this into "it is the black guy's fault" as not taking it seriously. That is part of their defense strategy from a very serious situation and evidences how alarmingly they are reacting. Nunes revealed the degree to which they are shitting bricks and deflecting to hide how entangled they are with the Russians and Rosneft agents and how deep the collusion to rig the election goes.

(32,628 posts)NBC seems to be supporting her, at least in the last few days.
She gave exclusive interviews on Meet the Press and the MSNBC news shows.
It seems to be helping her, at least I hope it is.
I don't watch Fox News but I imagine they must be dragging her name in the mud.
Hang in there Susan!

There needs to be a massive intervention in this country. We'll probably just lose the next world war, instead.
