Reaction to Bannon being removed--freepers are absolutely delusional.

I just checked in on the freep reaction and it's crazy.

Many of them are claiming that this is "fake news" because Bannon "stepped down" from the NSC four weeks ago in order to take on an even larger and more important role in other White House matters.

The "stepping down" four weeks ago was a "promotion" to an even better position.

I re-checked sources and, of course, Bannon's removal just happened this morning and it's possible he is being stripped of his security clearance.

There is no f#cking way that this is a promotion. It's a disaster for trump's agenda.

I've been checking Free Republic intermittently for several years now. (Aside from the entertainment value, which is reliable, I like to know what the RWNJs are saying.) Support for the likes of Bannon is perfectly consistent with their ethos over the years.

Just to give you an idea, someone has a post today titled "PROMINENT MEMBERS OF THE DEMOCRAT HALL OF FAME". Along with actual Democrats, the list includes Paul Ryan and John McCain.

The posts about Bannon are from real people who are perfectly sincere, unless the Russians decided years ago to put major effort into infiltrating a nest of right-wing loons. I think the Russians are smarter than that.
