1. I wonder whether major media outlets like the LA Times, the NYT, CNN etc

... have gotten together to agree to not varnish the truth of our situation. I don't think I ever heard Bush's WMD claims described as lies, for example, and news outlets just sort of tiptoed around the way that he was an utterly terrible president; they didn't state it as fact.

I keep meaning to watch ABC, NBC, and CBS to see whether they're talking about Trump and his government in the same way that MSNBC, CNN, the NYT, and the LA Times do, but I always forget.

3. What we are seeing now is so much more extreme and pervasive than what we dealt with during

Bush. Also there is a lot more internet based news now.
