Didn't President Obama abandon the Syrian red line when the GOP pulled the rug out from under him?

I see a lot of revisionist history.

BTW, I don't know what the solution is in Syria/the M.E. It's beyond my ken. It's a tough neighborhood which raises an interesting question. North America and Europe are relatively placid neighborhoods. Why do the Deplorables want to shake them up?

The GOP manages to weasel out of responsibility for everything. However, it's all on them now.

and the Iranian told them that if the US attacked Syrian military it would be impossible to finish the agreement.

Americans tend to view actions as being influenced by only domestic issues but international operations, especially in the middle East have dozens of non American moving parts

That is why it is so critical to elect someone who you can basically trust, and why we are all on such trouble now.

At the time PO said that they had an agreement with the Russians to take out the gas weapons.

That is what attracted criticism, even among independent observers. The real reason only came out much latter.
