(51,377 posts)3. If he cared about babies he would not have rescinded Obama's civilian strike avoidance guidelines.
Instead, he got rid of the guidelines the Obama adminstration crafted to avoid civil civilian casualties. And he ratcheted up the number of drone strikes in Iraq. This resulted in a dramatic increase in civilian casualties. Granted, unlike Assad, we weren't trying to hit civilians like Assad was, but Trump wasn't trying to avoid them as hard as Obama was either. More civilians, including children, died in Trump's Mosul strikes than died in Assad's chemical weapons strike.
