Donald Trump voter shocked as her husband is deported to Mexico

A Donald Trump voter has spoken out after her undocumented husband was deported to Mexico.

Helen Beristain has started a change.org petition after her husband was forced to leave the US, where he ran a steak restaurant for many years and raised three children.

Roberto Beristain, 44, had been in the US since 1998 and stayed illegally despite a deportation order given to him in 2000.

He ran a steak restaurant in Indiana, where his family lives, and is now being detained.

Mrs Beristain said she thought Donald Trump would only deport what he called "bad hombres", those with criminal records, and assumed he would leave families intact

She said when her husband was arrested: "We don’t want to have cartels here, you don’t want to have drugs in your high schools, you don’t want killers next to you.

"You want to feel safe when you leave your house. [Mr Trump] did say the good people would not be deported, the good people would be checked."

WHY did you think that? What caused you to believe him, when plenty of other people didn't, with good reason? What were you missing, and why were you missing it?

And what other things are you missing? What other bad decisions are you making because what you believe or have been led to believe aren't don't quite match up with reality either?

I am willing to give you $5 million to help pay for legal fees to fight this unjust deportation.

However, I am unable to leave my country at the moment, and I don't dare send such an amount by mail.

Please send me your bank account numbers -- both checking and savings -- so I can arrange to have the funds wired directly to your accounts.

Together, we can bring Roberto back. But time is of the essence. Please respond with the bank account numbers immediately.

Yours,

Wealthy Nigerian Prince

I can no longer help your husband. However, my friend, a Wealthy Mexican Businessman, is poised to wire the $5 million to your accounts. Please send him the account numbers at Wealthy_Mexican_Businessman (at) Mexico (dot) com.

We can help you.

She exercised the first and declined to do the second.

Were the vote held again today, she would probably vote the same way. My sympathies are with the deportee husband, not with this ignorant woman. Maybe if she were to get her information from someplace other than Fox "News," she might figure out what she did wrong.

president, and hero of the 15-minute war with Syria -- it was on TV on Apr 6. I appointed myself the rank of 6-star general. McConnell and Ryan are pushing my appointment through Congress. I always want to give orders to my own army. My presidential election was by the biggest margin ever, ever in the Electoral College. Huge. I actually won the popular vote, but Hillary stole over 3 million votes from me. Your husband Roberto is a bad hombre, otherwise, my ICE would not have shipped his butt back to Mexico. You should move to Mexico to be with him. My son Eric will contact you to make a generous offer for your property. It includes 1-way tickets to Brownsville, TX bus station. If you stay in USA, be sure to vote Trump in 2020. Tell your children not be SAD. This makes USA Great Again.

Firsr, your american spouse has to sponsor you for a fiancee visa. Then, after you are married, the spouse has to apply for your green card. After interviews, background checks, etc.. you get a green card. Next you have to wait three years on the green card with no conviction ( even a dui can jeopardize your status). Finally you apply for us citizenship and this on itself can take a year. At every step, background checks. Interviews, fingerprinting, dna , etc...

Many were misinformed. Many were brainwashed. Many were driven by anger, resentment and prejudice. Many voted against their own interests. Many didn't have a clue who they were voting for. This election showed how deeply divided we have become.

Trump was the most racist and bigoted out of all the candidates. He told the most lies. He threw out the most insults. He showed he was unscrupulous in his businesses. He had the worst temperament, and yet he won. We have to ask what is wrong with America to get this result? We cannot blame 63 million people. We cannot say we have no sympathy for 63 million people. As Democrats, we should be there for all and not just those who vote Democrat.
