at the talking heads on TV who don't get it. It must be so frustrating for him listening to all the bullshit.

He seems one step ahead of the news...wrote his book about Russia hacking election in July, called Flynn asking for immunity, called the attack of Syria move and now calling BS on it...let this message build for the day... Trump really is that stupid that he thought no one would see through this?

when he came to bed last night, said this very thing. It is performance art, a very expensive piece of performance art.

Enthroned down there in his personal palace of Mar a Lago, dining as the bombs falls, fawned over by SS - acting without input from Congress. Just setting the tone of strong man for future biz deals. Jared will handle the paperwork, I'm sure.

Even if he gets impeached in 6 months, Trump enterprises will thrive.

of this operation. It lies somewhere between insurance fraud and Trump wanting to show the Chinese President a metaphorical cumshot on Syria's face

That's what it comes down to for me. I could even accept Kabuki Theater if it was staged with the full best interests of or nation at stake. When you come down to it, that is virtually literally what a warning shot across the bow is, Kabuki Theater. It's a "pulled punch", not a non punch, and it is done for effect. For what effect? The problem is I have no trust in Trump.

It makes sense to me to try to avoid killing Russians in our first direct military strike against the Syrian government. Maybe that would not make sense the second time, which is why it was just for show the first time - fair dramatic warning to pull Assad back from using chemical weapons or risk more dangerous encounters. If Obama were President now I might accept an explanation like that. But he isn't, and because I do not trust that Trump has the full best interests of our nation at heart, this action raises more questions than it answers,
