She does anything she can to raise her profile. Not sure she has any core convictions, so the right can use her any way they want.

Trump's action illustrates just how insane this war is. No one is on the side of the people. All we have are multiple factions vying for control of the country.

We are now attacking both sides in this conflict, and Hillary reiterated the need to attack Syrian air bases as well.

Tulsi is the voice of reason in the Democratic party. There was a lot of resentment against her after she quit the DNC and endorsed Bernie and she has criticized past policy in support of "rebels" in Syria, arguing that ultimately, that support ended up in the hands of ISIS and Al Qaeda.

She is one of the few people who actually understand the situation and people on this site are trashing her.

Tulsi Gabbard’s Fascist Escorts to Syria
The Democratic congresswoman used affiliates of a violent, anti-Semitic political party to take tea with Assad.

Tulsi Gabbard, the self-styled “progressive” Hawaiian congresswoman makes no secret of her recent trip to Damascus to meet Bashar al-Assad. But, as an outspoken opponent of what she presents as America’s pro-terrorist foreign policy, Gabbard certainly accepted some strange companions on what her fellow lawmakers are calling a disgraceful reputation-laundering tour of a bloody dictatorship.
Gabbard, as her own office has disclosed, took her “fact-finding” trip with a delegation of two men who are affiliated with an anti-Semitic political party accused of using female suicide bombers; of beating up Western and Arab journalists; helping U.S.-designated terrorist organization Hezbollah and the U.S.-sanctioned Syrian regime wage war in the Levant.
And did we mention the party’s ideology and flag take their inspiration from Nazism?

but to clue you in, Syria should have been taken care of before Iraq, Afghanistan ( Hooray for Charlie Wilson's war) the place Russia doesn't want, wonder why. Oh, Pakistan.

We also has Arab Spring where some of my fellow countrymen, should realize that wanting countries to have democracy and actually delivering are very difficult to do. Oh yeah, Egypt and Libya are added to that.

I remember the first Gulf war so well, they are still looking for those babies dumped out of their incubators.

Do you remember Lebanon? There were five factions fighting in that one. No one knew who to please but they did know how to displease Ronald Reagan when a member of one of the five factions decided to blow up a Marine killing 290 US Marines. Score one for the smart people who know not to interfere with a married couple fighting. You are going to lose no matter which side you take.

I have been hearing all this bullshit about Obama didn't do anything. Well bullshit, bush sunk our country deep in debt and we damn sure didn't need to spend any more money on the Middle east.

Mr Trumpet wants to spend our money on bullets and not medical care. Lets show some pictures of our own people dying.

Now, did you learn the lesson or do you need to repeat the course.

Assad since he has always been the worst but instead, baby bush invaded the wrong country. We have spent a tub full of defeating Iraq when it should have been Afghanistan alone.

Saddam Husein was always there to fight Iran and Russia. Bush broke the hell out of the region and now he sets on his ass paint pretty pictures.

But here's the first question we need to ask:

What gives us the right?

Absent a clear cut case of justified self defense it can justly be called a war crime. We really have to get it out of our heads that we can or should use our military in this way.
