Trump is a functional illiterate. Its simple. He simply can't read.

Last edited Fri Apr 7, 2017, 10:23 PM - Edit history (1)

Last night's absolutely bizarre recorded statement should simply be all the proof anyone needs to determine that. The heavy breathing, as if he's simply laboring; that only seems to happen when he's reading from a teleprompter. The muted, halting speech pattern and cadence. The ending of a phrase at the end of whatever is on the teleprompter, as if he can't follow punctuation or think ahead. He clearly never saw the words before. And when that's the case, you get what we got from him last night.

His illiteracy is why Jarvanka are there. They translate from Real World Speak to Trump World Speak. It is why he simply HAD to get them both security clearances to see everything he is entitled to see.

Simply so he can understand them. So they can fill in the blanks for things he doesn't understand.

His illiteracy is why he speaks in small, simple words.

After 70 years he has learned a few big words that he can toss around when speaking extemporaneously. In reality, he speaks like he thinks. Simply.

He is a simple man.

Simple is as simple does.

Simple.

Because of his money he was able to snare the spotlight with outrageous statements and behavior. He is a con man who was destined to ruin before the Russians found him useful.

In my experience pointing out how Fox lies helps. Maybe not immediately (no one likes to admit they got conned) but it helps.

Also let them know WHY Fox lies to them - to get votes so Murdoch and the super-wealthy can destroy the government to cut taxes on the rich. That tax cut will help the 0.01%, but not normal americans - because cutting taxes will hurt government services like health care and social security.

A poor man's idea of a rich man.

A stupid man's idea of a smart man.

A weak man's idea of a strong man.

... nope! might explain how bannon wound up on the national security council (for a while, anyway). he just slipped it in there knowing donnie wouldn't read it.
