I think we need more diversity but I think we need to run white men in 2018 - We need to control the narrative on smart ethical white men who can be awesome public servants.

If we want the majority of white women back, we need to embrace fabulous. There are a lot of them and some are running for office.

Hey I'm being practical. We have to get them back and include them as we develop narratives of who we are as a nation. But first we gotta get them back.

and acknowledge their privilege on a national stage. It probably wouldn't win too many back, but it might get them thinking.

We've got lots of white men. We don't need to kowtow to the White Fox News Brainwashed Working Class, just get voter turnout up.

Run women and minorities and some white men sometimes too.

America is a rainbow country and the Democrats are a rainbow party. Let the GOP remain the white racist party.

O'Rourke/Castro-TX,Gallego-AZ,and Kihuen-NV also appeal to the millennials.
Democrats could win the AL US Senate Race by tying the Republican nominee to Bentley and Sessions.

I think republicans hate Latinos more, so if my logic is correct then the next gop presidential candidate will be the skeleton of Strom Thurmand with an Atlas shrugged audiobook playing in the background.

Backlash was created by right wing media.
For Obama they used birther lines. For Kerry it would have been French speaking, cycling, other made up stuff. For HRC it would have been female issues, made up stuff via Judicial watch.

Don't blame racism. Yes there was racism at play. But the right wing press chose that attack angle and amplified it. The problem is the right wing press.
