North Korean actions. CNN. Carrier strike group is a bigger show of force than normal and this comes a day after Trump meeting with head of China. Planned military carrier strike group exercises there were for March.

It is highly unlikely we would move against North Korea without at least a second carrier strike group.

I would expect to see at least one more carrier strike group, movement of B-2 & B-1 bombers to Guam & F-22 squadrons deployed to Guam and at least 1 more Army division (mechanized or armored) flown to South Korea if U.S. were to attack North Korea.

getting China to do some new thing regarding NK. But they don't know. As you suggest, it is likely symbolic.
