New russian propaganda: US mainstream-media to blame for Trump's airstrike in Syria.

http://www.salon.com/2017/04/09/trumps-syria-misadventure-if-this-all-goes-wrong-media-must-shoulder-the-blame/

The author is Danielle Ryan. A so-called freelance journalist who regularly writes articles for RT.

A summary of the article:

* "let's not jump to conclusions, we need an investigation"
(We need an investigation here. Not for this ridiculous Trump-Russia-thing. Just ignore it.)

* "maybe it was that a syrian airstrike hit chemical weapons stored by rebels?"
(What she conveniently forgets to tell you is that the spread of the chemical weapons showed that they were dropped from high above. They did not originate from the ground.)

* a strawman-argument that we are only bashing Assad because we have this preconception that he's a bad guy
(Come on! Amnesty International has published a report about people getting tortured to death in Assad's torture-dungeons and a whistleblower has provided photos to prove it! You are so prejudiced against Assad!!!)

* The mainstream-media is to blame for Trump's strike in Syria because they pushed him so hard with their Russia-conspiracy-theories that he had to attack Syria to push back.

* The chemical weapons of Syria are just like the WMDs of Iraq.
(Except Iraq really destroyed its WMDs and didn't hand them over to their best friend for storage.)

Maybe it will shame them back to doing their jobs again, instead of drooling over the newly presidential puppet.

That's what the 'author' says.

"The mainstream-media is to blame for Trump's strike in Syria because they pushed him so hard with their Russia-conspiracy-theories that he had to attack Syria to push back.

This is pure Putin spin. Maybe you misread it the first time.
