George W. Bush: PEPFAR saves millions of lives in Africa. Keep it fully funded.

Bush Just Sent Trump A BRUTAL Message, Gives Him SHOCKING Advice (DETAILS)

America’s former presidents probably have a lot they’d like to say to the moron that is currently disgracing the White House and country. Unlike the presidents that came before him, Donald Trump lacks the respect for America that the country deserves, and it’s likely killing our former presidents to watch his disastrous presidency play out.

Some former presidents refuse to stay silent. George W. Bush has just sent Trump a brutal message in an op-ed published last night in The Washington Post.

In his critical op-ed, Bush tried to give Trump some advice while blasting his proposed budget. Noting how successful his own President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) was, Bush wrote:

“Critical to this effort is our Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon partner, the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). My administration launched PEPFAR in 2003 to address the HIV/AIDS pandemic that threatened to wipe out an entire generation on the continent of Africa. Nearly 15 years later, the program has achieved remarkable results in the fight against disease.”

Bush pointed out that under Trump’s proposed budget, $300 million would be cut from this program. Bush made a desperate plea to Trump on behalf of Americans:

“I argue that we shouldn’t spend money on programs that don’t work, whether at home or abroad. But they should fully fund programs that have proven to be efficient, effective and results-oriented. Saving nearly 12 million lives is proof that PEPFAR works, and I urge our government to fully fund it.”

Unfortunately, Bush’s message will likely fall in deaf ears, considering the fact that Trump’s proposed health care bill – in which millions of Americans would have been stripped of live-saving health care – pretty much confirmed that Trump doesn’t give a damn about saving lives.

It’s not normal for a former POTUS to blast the current one, but we can all agree that Trump is a special case. If Trump would only take the advice of those far more experienced and competent than himself, perhaps America would have a fighting chance.

Shrub even seems sort of smart now in comparison to Trump.

Dolt45 seems to take advice only from his elder daughter and son in law, who are as ignorant as he is and consistently wrong about nearly everything.

He's a horrible, vindictive man who won't listen to sane advice.

But that is bad for women, because educating women on saying no to something we don't want to do is good, so I'm conflicted.

It's a damn weird position to find ourselves in. GOP dogma has contributed to millions of needless deaths in Africa, but Trump has yet again managed to find a way to be even more repugnant than the soulless bastards in his own party.
