Obama is expected to speak for the Evangelischer Kirchentag in Berlin and discuss democracy and responsibility with chancellor Merkel.
(Note "evangelisch" is not the same as "evangelikal", so this is not an evangelical event. It's the main protestant church in Germany and quite liberal on social issues. They even do gay marriage in some parts of Germany, they help refugees a lot, they want to have a good relationship with muslim citizens and jews and catholics, etc. even though I'm an agnostic atheist and quite the leftist, I still support most of what they do and I'm actually oficially registered as a protestant.)
