We have a violence problem among men in this country and elsewhere. Doesn't mean there aren't cases of women committing terrible acts of violence, but for the most part violence is a man problem.

For many reasons, men are the sex that commits violence at a much higher rate. Acknowledging this would be a start to understanding it.

It comes in many forms - Like with the shooting yesterday or Randall Coffland, it can be ex-girlfriend related like what Allen Ivanov did, it can be because you think you are supposed to be a sex god and not getting it like with Elliot Rodger or George Sodini.

All killed their ex's. I will grant you that women seem more likely to murder in private.

However, 37% of woman victims are killed by husbands or boyfriends. Which means we need to do a much better job identifying violent people and disarming them.

10. Are We Really Not Talking About This Issue?

Are we not talking about domestic violence? What more do you want people to say and do? As far as I can tell we are constantly talking about violence against women, especially the violence done by men. What are we supposedly talking around? We have a Violence Against Women Act.

Before you ask, no I am not a Men's Rights Activist. I am not trying to say we should not talk about this issue; I am just saying I think we are talking about this issue. We may be doing all we can do in order to deal with this issue.
