with a combination of flattery and money. They might not have anticipated how erratic he'd turn out to be as president and what a dumpster fire his administration would be. I'm sure they'll have no problem turning on him once they decide he's too much of a loose cannon to be useful to them.

Putin's goal was to defeat Hillary and weaken our democracy. He is scoring big on both counts. If Americans don't continue to resist and fight, we will end up weaker. Conservatism has gotten such a strong hold on our country -- government, culture, infrastructure and our minds -- that we may never recover. The outrage to a vile Trump may be just what we need. Add to that new technology that is making right-wing abuses a lot more transparent.
