Passover insult from the Trump administration
Last night, Jews around the world gathered for the Passover Seder, to celebrate the redemptive passage of our ancestors from slavery to freedom. The Haggadah reads “In each and every generation they rise up against us to destroy us. And the Holy One, blessed be He, rescues us from their hands.”
We are commanded to re-tell this every year, l'dor v dor from generation to generation, to remind us to be vigilant against hate.
Tonight on the second night of Passover, we will gather again to recount the Exodus. Today, the spokesman of the president of the United States reminded us, in a display of either stagerring ignorance or anti-Semitic malevolence, why we are commanded to so remember.

We should be so petty.
and a serious fucking 
While this isn't a major issue, it is a part of a laundry list of insults to the Jewish community and the Jewish people, and as such, it should be recognized for what it is.
