His stupidity will go too far, insult too many, and someone will be personally offended and they'll yell that or worse at him. They won't care that they'll be fired, and will be glad they went out in a blaze of glory.

Or perhaps they'll sardonically ask an insulting question and SS will be clueless.

It felt good.

Ms. Parker has a greater affinity for the right side of the political spectrum than the left, so with her being the poster child for Spicer Incredulity Syndrome, it was even funnier.

Connecticut College and the Naval War College must be so proud.

He is helping his wife though. Wiki notes that she is is senior vice president, communications and public affairs, for the National Beer Wholesalers Association and they must see a big increase sales of beer whenever he is on the TV.

The other two, April and Ashley had absolutely perfect reactions but I also watched the reporter's facial features as she listened to his reply and talk about a poker face. There seemed to be a couple of tiny 'tells' that she had a, 'did I just hear what in think I did' moment, but she remained cool and 'professional'. I would have had a heck of a hard time keeping a straight face in those circumstances.

I watched for other reactions amongst the press but it seemed to go over the heads of the others, at least in that frame.

I used to have a pretty good poker face, especially when dealing with patients/clients and kids, but as I've aged I find I'm much more inclined to call people on BS so it's probably a good thing that I don't normally have to put that mask on anymore.

I am a nurse of almost 30 years and yeah, I have a great poker face in that venue. I will answer every question with respect, even if it's the fifteenth time they have asked it. I hide anything that would seem unprofessional in that area, so I guess I do have a poker face, in the right context. No way, no how, will I ever leave a patient's parent feeling stupid.

Now, in the rest of my world, my tolerance for BS is rapidly dwindling to zero.

I truly admire and respect the patience it takes to be a nurse.

I could only lasted a few years as a LPN and it wasn't the patients at all that were the last straw as much as a few of the doctors and the higher admin (and I left around 30 yrs ago). I decided to take a break then went back to school to work on an MSW and ended that with a DX of MS instead. (My background and personality has made me an 'interesting' patient I must admit... lol).

I've never dealt well with BS, certain attitudes, ethics, etc but aging, while making me a bit more tactful normally, has also made me even more outspoken... although I suppose that I really need to stop teasingly telling certain people who tell me that they're a Republican, "I'm sorry". Although I must admit the look on their face sort of makes it worth it.

We are in tough negotiations and I just have to remember, I wear my union hat for certain things and for the babies and their wonderful parents, well, I give it all. I always have.

And BTW, it was an LPN who taught me my first IV skills. And then they got rid of LPNs on my unit. Pissed me off.

I love that response. I would like to see the face of which you speak. Too bad way too much of my life does revolve around work. I won't do that to my fellow nurses, though blessedly, there appear to be few who actually fly the Republican flag.

I can't a regular job anymore.

The longer Trump is president the more my normal filters seem to break down. I can still restrain myself if truly needed but people foolish enough to tell me that they're a Republican like it's something they're super proud of tend to push me into wanting to laugh at them and even more so when I know their stances on issues are actually more in line with being a moderate to left leaning Democrat.

Luckily I'm hearing a lot less R pride and more 'WTH' lately so I have a bit of hope that some people are waking up.
