Why did announcement concerning "God Particle" go from the leading Fox News story to one of many?

They found out it didn't really prove the existence of God.

They'll keep shoving it on the gullible as though it does, but they originally lead with it on Google. Now it's not even listed on iGoogle.

Fundies and extreme righties develop mental filters that screen out and reject anything at odds with their extremely narrow worldview. Just occasionally one of them may get a shock to jolt them out of their comfortable rut and make them actually think.
