The MSM loves Exxon Mobil ad money and will not report the worst for fear of losing the ad dollars. BP did the same thing with the Gulf oil spill and it worked like a charm. No victim impact stories and they made it seem like a done deal years before things were resolved. Still not quite done with the litigation and they stopped the clean-up a long time ago though it is still a mess.
