Undercooled meat. Dangerous fish. Health inspectors zing Trumps Mar-a-Lago kitchen

Just days before the state visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s Palm Beach private club, Florida restaurant inspectors found potentially dangerous raw fish and cited the club for storing food in two broken down coolers.

Inspectors found 13 violations at the fancy club’s kitchen, according to recently published reports — a record for an institution that charges $200,000 in initiation fees.

Three of the violations were deemed “high priority,” meaning that they could allow the presence of illness-causing bacteria on plates served in the dining room.

in most restaurant kitchens they inspect. Between inspections, kitchen staff tends to get sloppy. The longer the time since the last inspection, the more violations that will probably be found.

Basically, you don't really want to visit a restaurant kitchen. It's a great way to lose your appetite, frankly.

I'm not excusing Trump or Mar-a-Lago, but such things are far from uncommon, even in high-end restaurants.

Or perhaps he's blissfully unaware of the problems in the kitchen. This represents only the issues that were caught; wonder how many were hastily amended when staff found out the inspectors were coming?

Also, I wonder how much saliva and/or who-knows-what tRump has unknowingly consumed over the years - at the Mar-a-Lieo and elsewhere?

I hear this all the time on DU. Food service workers are low skilled, need no education and are easily replaceable by anybody because one needs no intelligence to work these jobs. Heck, they're meant to be filled by teenagers anyway. No restaurant ever was meant to employee adults according to many on this board.

Enjoy that cheap labor food!
