How is "Islamic State" still supporting this? Do they have meetings? Franchise agreements? We were once told they all lived in caves, now they have "affiliates." It's all completely absurd. If we know so much about their company agreements, why don't we have our CIA guys (or something) in there signing up and sending the manual back to...oh, fuck it. It is all just too absurd. I think the problem is that you see the word 'affiliate' purely in commercial terms. This is about the world, not about American business. The term 'affiliate' was being used with the Jacobins during the French Revolution - from the Oxford English Dictionary:
